If you've watched this DVD from start to finish then you've seen a lot of rheumatology and relevant immunology. The conditions that rheumatologists treat are sometimes disturbing. They are chronic, and painful, disfiguring, and deforming and incurable. But things are getting better. There is a tremendous amount of research going on around the world. At my clinic alone, I spend about half of my time conducting clinical research, and as I speak we are looking at over twenty different compounds that treat essentially all the different disorders that I've described in this DVD. Many of these treatments are going to lead to major improvements in our management of these conditions. Things are getting better, for rheumatologists and their patients. Again, I hope you have enjoyed "Images and Animations in Arthritis and Rheumatism" Craig Wiesenhutter, M.D. |
